The "Mark
    2 Swiss Army Knife"
    Now using Midge Vlad kamikaze
    based on file 200602050443.tar.bz2
    at http://midge.vlad.org.ua/src/kamikaze/
NB!
One contact could not get his Sweex to run with
these files but found that the latest
    version works OK
This file
structure for the USB memory stick and new firmware for the Sweex
offers web pages containing forms that, when filled in with the string of
    your choice,
send that string out through the second RS232 port at 9600
    Baud
You must connect the second RS232 serial port as shown here
Many
thanks to Midge Vlad and the creator of the new files (an email contact of
mine who wishes to remain anonymous on the internet)
and to IJs for the tutorial posted at http://midge.vlad.org.ua/forum/viewtopic.php?t=229

You need both of these files :-
Click here to download the firmware for the Sweex Router
Click
    here
to download the file structure for the USB memory stick.
NB use ethernet port marked 3 for LAN

    May 2006 - updated
Click here to download a new
set of web pages for the www directory on the stick above
These have a simplified structure and let you control 4
GPIO lines and send and receive from the second RS232 port
STILL WORK IN PROGRESS - BEWARE
The method of loading both is identical to the instructions given by J Domburg.
When I added this -
<a href="index.cgi?page=rs232send&string=harold">harold</a> <br>
to the file -
start.html
I could send the string "harold" out of the RS232 port.
I have only just started to play with this. Please send me any tips or join the debate
